Glastonbury is a legendary music festival, with the greatest bands, performers and over 200,000 festival-goers attending every year. Venetia Dearden, a UK photographer, has been documenting the whole experience since 2004. Her aim was to single out individuals and groups to capture the motives and personas that make up the festival. The result is a unique portrait of a temporary community. This season, Mulberry helps release Venetia’s book. Glastonbury: Another Stage features images of concert-goers, artists, and employees. The book is full of music history, plus some major street-style inspiration. It appears Miley Cyrus is doing everything she can to kill her Disney alter ego dead. I mean, her ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ music video has singer pole dancing in plunging S&M-style corsets. The song’s licks and the video’s style are reminiscent of Britney Spears’ “Womanizer.” I’m getting the feeling that all these pop stars are simply trying to outdo each other.

An arts & crafts bar (a regularly hosted nightlife-workspace) opens at the San Francisco Museum of Craft And Folk Art. Craft Bar organizes project themes and featured artists to guide crafters, within a DJ and drinks experience. Fee is $5 which includes one free beer, admission to the gallery, and supplies for the craft…Now people can now get together, have some brewskies, and throw down some high level arts and craft projects.

What do you think of Taylor Momsen’s band The Pretty Reckless (the punky rock band fronted by Gossip Girl’s Jenny Humphrey)?? Some people believe the 16 year old is trying to grow up way too fast, while others feel she is a Courtney Love wannabe. I’m indifferent, but I have to admit I like her style. What do you think?? Prada officially has the awesomest way to leave a building ever!!! Located at the Prada headquarters in Milan connecting boss Miuccia Prada’s office and the car park, the slide is almost vertical- three stories high! The slide was designed by Carsten Höller and doubles as a piece of art! I would LOVE one of those for my apartment:)

John Lennon’s lyrics for “A Day in the Life” are for sale! 43 years ago John Lennon and Paul McCartney wrote what would become the final song on “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” and one of the Beatles’ best-known recordings. Lennon’s original handwritten lyrics for his part of “A Day in the Life” could be yours. An auction is said to be held on June 18th. Sotheby’s said it expected the manuscript to go for between $500,000 and $700,000. Too bad that is out of my price range

OMG! Check out these new images and the first clip from Woody Allen’s ‘You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger.’ It features Antonio Banderas, Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins, Freida Pinto, and Naomi Watts. On the film’s Facebook page the plot reads, “A little romance, some sex, some treachery, and apart from that, a few laughs. The lives of a group of people, whose passions, ambitions and anxieties force them all into assorted troubles that run the gamut from ludicrous to dangerous.” As one of Woody Allen’s biggest fans, I am super excited for this film. Woody never disappoints

Check out the trailer for the upcoming film, Happiness Runs, which tells the story of a neglected child (Victor) of parents living on a hippie commune. Victor soon realizes the shortcomings of their Utopian ideals, but is helpless to resist the atmosphere of sex and drugs that permeates his world. Hopefully he’s smart enough to know that if he is going to survive, he has to get out. Man, this looks good!
